Chance me for Duke, Cornell and Penn ED!

Stats:
Male, from competitive public HS in MA (class of ~400, about 15-25 to ivies each year)

GPA: ~3.849 UW, 4.6 W (6 APs by graduation plus 2 college classes) - this would be a 3.9+ had it not been for freshman year (upward trend)
Rank: My HS does UW ranks, so I get penalized a bit. I'm around the top 10%- give or take 3/4 spots
SAT: 2010 (retaking later, but will use ACT)
ACT: 33 (36 M, 35 Science, 31 Writing, 31 Reading)
Subject Tests: 790 and 770 on Math lvl 2 and Physics subject tests.
Intended Major: MechE

Extracurriculars: I'm not going to go in much depth but I have a fair amount of ECs related to engineering and science. I have leadership positions in clubs, have gone to state/nationals in competitions and have worked in labs (I intend on sending an additional rec from mentor and/or research abstract)

Main: Robotics (state/national level) and Lab Work (at a top 20 USNWR school)
Secondary: Speech & Debate, Golf, Science Olympiad, etc.

Complete List:
1. Cornell/Duke/Penn (still debating on which one to go ED)
2. Brown
3. Columbia (maybe ed?)
4. MIT
5. Northwestern
6. Rice
7. Michigan
8. Georgia Tech
9. UIUC

I’ll be applying to the engineering schools- so Pratt for Duke, SEAS for Penn, CoE- Cornell, etc. I’m leaning towards Penn or Cornell for ED

Academically those top three are all about the same. The lifestyle is dramatically different for each though. Penn and Columbia are definitely tougher the toughest to get into. Cornell is great for nature lovers and has excellent food. Penn is for people who love the city. Duke is for people who love sports and good weather. Choose on the lifestyle, not the couple of differences in the rankings academically. They are all about the same. Be sure if you are going to do early decision.

Penn accepts the most ED, you’d have good shot there but a decent shot anywhere else you’d apply.

^^ Cornell actually accepts a higher percent early than Penn.

If u can raise the SAT score to 2150ish, u have a solid shot at Penn ED. Good luck!!!

Ya I think Cornell has a higher percentage but Penn accepts more (or fills more of the class ED)
