(one of the top high schools in the country USNews) (very competitive)

SAT: 1590 (800 M, 790 R/W)
SAT II: Math II(800), Chemistry(650), Planning on taking Biology and maybe Physics
APs: AP World History (5), AP Government and Politics (5), AP Calculus AB(5), AP Calculus BC(5), AP Biology(5), AP CSP(5), AP Psychology(5), AP Chemistry(4), AP Computer Science(4), AP Physics 1(5), AP Lang(5).
Senior year APs: AP Physics 2, AP Lit, AP Statistics, AP Human Geo.

ECs/Awards
3x State Science Fair 1st Place, 2x Best of Fair Winner
2x ISEF Finalist, never got any awards at ISEF doe :slight_smile:
2x AIME Qualifier
2x USABO Semifinalist, hopefully finalist this yr haha
Science Bowl Regionals 3rd place (out of like 50ish schools)

President of Brain Bee club and Medical Engineering Club. Both 3 years so far.

Research: Interned at genomics institute for 3 years, looking to publish paper with mentor this year.
Volunteering: I have volunteered at hospital for 3 years, more than 300 hours total.

Stats wise I think you are set, but make sure your essay and recs are just as good

UCB is different, and not quite as selective as the others in your list, but has a heavier emphasis on GPA than on test scores (not to your advantage). Calculate your UC weighted-capped GPA at https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/ . Historically, the highest range of GPA (> 4.2) had admission rates in the 40s percent (many would consider that high match or low reach, except for engineering applicants who would consider it a reach regardless), but those with lower GPAs would have to consider it a reach. Legacy, race, and gender are not considered at UCB. Also, no need-based financial aid for non-California residents.
