Test Scores: ACT: 32
Extracurriculars: Don't really want to list them all, but they are good, but nothing spectacular.

Also, I have a 740 SAT Math II. Should I send this?

List your ECs. Honestly I’m guessing those and your essays will be the difference so if you list your ECs I’ll have a better idea. GPA is obviously great and ACT is solid, but I’d try and bring it up just a bit. Send the 740 too.

Take the ACT again, definitely send the SAT II even though they’re optional.

Will depend on your ECs like the previous poster said.

I’ll type my ECs later. I also have a 770 SAT Math I. Should I send this as well? Any other feedback?

How much does ED really help?

When considering applying RD vs ED, you should make sure that Duke is your first choice school and you will be happy to go there - any other reason for applying ED is the wrong reason.

That said, ED acceptance rate is around 30% for Duke vs. the Regular 10% (combines to a total of 13% ish)

This year it is 25% with ED and an expected 11% with RD. When you visit Duke they’ll tell you that it helps too, a smaller applicant pool to stand out in and they consider that Duke is your top choice and that will help you. So it does help. Just make sure that it really is your top choice and visit or do enough research on it.

Send the 770 too.
