Will colleges think its way too many? Or will they understand that a lot of these clubs use the same skill sets and stuff? Should I include all? Any help would be appreciated lmao

If possible, reverse chance me also

I am still a junior (so take what I say with a grain of salt), but your clubs are all over the place (however you are president of all of them). The best thing you can do right now is to try and dual enroll in a intro to business at local community college, try to sell a product for profit, and do an internship. Sorry to be rude, but in terms of college, the way you list everything it appears as if you’re trying to check boxes off a checklist. Business, MUN, and Investment club contribute to app, however the other clubs dilute the app and make you look a little unfocused. If you do some of the things I said you will be in best shape possible for ivies.

I’ll do that. Thank you very much!

@Chemguyz Do you think I’m currently in good shape for the UCs?

Where are you volunteering?

@ChezCurie At a financial literacy program

You are a competitive applicant. Your stats and ECs are great. Write good essays and you could get accepted to any of these schools. Make sure you write RD essays as well in case you don’t get accepted in the ED round of admissions

I’ll be realistic here. You have really great chances at Berkeley, UCLA, and NYU, but these cannot be considered safeties. Of the other ones, you’ll probably get into one or two. Apply to some safeties please. Good luck.

This year many kids with better stats than yours were rejected by UCB/UCLA . So listen to the wise advice from the above poster!

Same advice I give to everyone that has the stats. Get a passion. Make that passion your theme throughout your application, including asking your recommendation writers to mention that passion in their recommendation if they see it. Your ECs should reflect that passion. Your essays should somehow weave that passion into the narrative. Finally, that passion has to be something that makes the world a better place. i.e. a passion for playing Clash Royale on your phone probably won’t cut it :^).

I think if you can do that, with your stats, you should be in good shape where ever you apply. Not at 100%, but much better then people who have your stats and not a passion and much, much better then the average acceptance rate.

In my opinion, you are a very competitive applicant, and since your clubs are orbitted around your major and you have a leading role, i think it will be counted in favor of you. I think you have a great chance. Good luck! Please tell me your opinion here http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/2071793-what-do-you-think-of-my-ecs-need-your-help.html#latest
