ED II Applicant - Business Major
UW GPA: 3.86
W GPA: 4.69/5 or 5.35/6
(recalculated gpa w/o freshman year)
SAT: 1430 (750M|680E)
I took 11 APs (3s,4s,5s,) 5 Aice (All passed) 4 Dual Enrollments classes at a local college
EC’s: Very Strong (Started my own business, strong internships, president of investment club, president of a charity)
Essay: Strong (at least I think)
Had an Alumni Interview: Went VERY WELL - alumni really liked me and said she’d write a glowing recommendation for me.
I visited and did an official tour too (not sure if that matters)
I’m from Florida (not sure if that matters either)

Yeah, I don’t think you’d have to worry much about getting into Emory with what you’ve got. It’s really not an incredibly difficult school to get in to, and you have fine scores and a transcript you can work with. I’d recommend applying to some other schools of course (including those of Ivy-League levels if such suits your fancy), but, as Emory is concerned, you should be a-okay. You can also check PrepScholar to see average SAT and GPA for Emory, which always helps to clear things up. Good luck.

You may or may not get in and I would disregard the message above. There are people with higher grades and higher scores who do not get in and people with lower scores who do. Emory looks beyond stats, which is why it’s foolish to chance anyone. Good luck.
