She is applying to U pitt. and Drexel too.
Was told they are safety. Really curious about Rutgers business school. We are in state. Hoping that is reachable

You can add or subtract the .33, but relatively few schools will do that. More importantly, knowing the uwGPA is important for categorizing schools. Does your D have a good HS counselor and/or Naviance/Scoir scattergrams?

Pitt business is probably not a safety (again if the uwGPA is around 3.3)ā€¦is that app in? I defer to the HS GC and/or Naviance/Scoir for categorization.

What was her grade in AP Calc AB?

Unsure about applying TO to Drexel, she seems in range there? What is the SAT split? Rutgers business would be TO. BUT I defer to the HS GC, based on the HSā€™s history at these schools.

The thing with the scattergram is you donā€™t know the school the students applied to with Fordham and that can matter, as can TOā€¦hence why I say to ask the HS counselor. Are you applying for FA at Fordham?

Sorry, I understand where your D is applying.

You donā€™t know what school the students on the scattergram applied to. Because business stats/hurdle are usually higher than the overall, that will likely mean her chances are lower at Fordham Gabelli than if she was applying to the liberal arts college. Even if itā€™s a reach, I still encourage her to apply. If you are full pay and not applying for FA that will also help.

Hopeful for your D. Great school.
But something seems off with her GPA. Per you UW is 3.51, W 4.36. She has 3 Cs and only 3 AP classes prior to Sr yr. I donā€™t see how the weighted GPA jumped so much with stated course rigor and 3 Cs. Is it out of 5.0?
