<p>Hi Everyone,
So I recently applied to NEU early action and got deferred so I was wondering what my chances are for my other schools aka GW, Syracuse, and UMD (maybe) . I have already gotten accepted to Rutgers University.
I go to an Academy (Academy of Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences)</p>
<p>I have already had an interview with Syracuse and am set up for an interview with GW next week.</p>
<p>SAT: 1920 (R: 570, M: 670, W: 680) **<em>I know this is weak and I'm already punishing myself for not trying harder</em></p>
<p>GPA: unweighted- 3.5/4 weighted 5.3/6</p>
<p>Rigor of Classes: Every class I have taken in my high school career has been Honors
In my entire high school career I have gotten ONE C+ and that was in Precalc Honors
Currently taking AP English as well as Business Law I at the county college
Extracurricular: I volunteer a lot- 300+ hours
I have a job at a department store
Played Sports for 3 years
Tutor and Pet Sit
Achievements: I am fluent in 3 languages
I was chosen to participate in a National Singing Choir
I was chosen on the behalf of my school to speak at a University
Intended Major: Political Science

Essay: I'd say its pretty good; 4 people read it </p>
<p>I know my chances for GW are very slim but that is my ABSOLUTE TOP SCHOOL. I did not apply early decision only because my financial situation requires me to take everything into account (I have a brother in college and my mother is the only one providing financially for my family so I will be taking out ALL loans). I know that if I go to GW I will obtain some major connections but I don't even think I will make it and as of right now DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD APPLY. I just want to know realistically if I have a chance so I don't get upset if I get rejected (I was very sad about NEU deferring me). </p>
