Hello! I was wondering my chances of getting into Georgetown.

GPA- 3.5 UW (approx 3.7 weighted)

APs:
AP Bio (3)
AP French (4)
AP English Lang (4)
AP English Comp

AP Euro (4)
AP Calculus BC
AP Envi Sci
AP Gov

SAT II:
Bio E: 630
US History: 600 (YES, I know my scores are bad for SAT II. I am taking 3 more in October.)

All other classes were honors courses. APs with no score indicate they have not been taken.

ECs:
National Hispanic Scholar
AP Scholar With Distinction
National Honor Society President
National French Exam Gold/Silver Medals
Varsity Tennis 9th-12th, Team Captain 10th-12th
Tennis Clinics (10 hrs/week, won various state and district titles)
Tutoring 2hr/week
Tennis Coaching 2hrs/week

I think your act, gpa, and sat II scores are really low so you should fix those if possible. In terms of EC, they are pretty average. Overall, I think you have a slim chance and, I wouldn’t bet on it. I don’t think you are competitive but if you go on a tour or do a college course and fix the stats, I think you will be.

BTW: I don’t really know what the National French Exam Gold/Silver Medals are so I may be underestimating their value.

it is going to be tough. ACT and gpa are very low for georgetown, but hey you never know i guess

academic stats are just a fragment of a gtown application. what ELSE have you done?
gtown has a tough admission rate because acceptance doesn’t rely solely on stats alone. it’s about the whole picture.
