Are you in or out of state? There is a huge difference in acceptance rate. I believe the OOS acceptance rate was below 20% last cycle which would make it a reach for OOS applicants.

I am applying from out of state.

From personal experience (friends), I can say you’re definitely more than qualified to get in. However, my friends that go there are all from in-state. In-state wise, I’m almost certain you’d get in. Out of state, I can’t really say too much, but I think you have a good shot.

Great ECs! I am a bit surprised by your choice of APs, considering your major plans. Great chance for in-state, reach for OOS. Good luck!

I think you have a great chance because almost no one applies to GaTech for econ and international studies.
This is a huge factor, they don’t have room for all the CS majors but they have plenty of room for you. If you applied by Oct 15, the chances are way way higher than if you waited until after Oct 15. Many students are rejected after Oct 15, if they are out of state, but also your gender matters too, and race. These factors you cannot control actually do determine where you get in, unfortunately. GaTech like all technical schools is trying to get to 50% women for their undergrad class. They still reject some women with perfect scores, though, so its never a slam dunk. I think the major you want will really help, and good luck.
