Chance me for GT, Stanford, Duke, Davidson, Vanderbilt, etc.

Chance me for GT, Stanford, Duke, Davidson, Vandy, Notre Dame, Pepperdine and some safeties – also, if you have any recommendations for STEM-y schools that are fairly decent on the wallet, I would love to hear them.
Thanks!

You have a 4.67% chance of getting into Stanford like everyone else- jk, you seem like an absolutely amazing candidate for admission to any of these schools. Davidson, GT and Pepperdine are very probable, and scholarships seem like they could be awarded. ND loves top 1-2% ranking, but I think a 36 offsets that even if ND assumes you’re not in the top 1-2%. Same thing with Vandy; it seems they live by test scores. With Duke and Stanford, I don’t know- seems they admit applicants using the most obscure methods. P.S., I do not think you should put “working out” as an ec; your application is too exceptional for you to pad it.

@SeinfeldFan1 sometimes I think think decile ranking is injust because I know I’m ~4/235, but it is what it is, counselor said she would report only decile ranking

*edit, also I don’t mean to pad my app by putting working out. I think on my common app I ranked it 3, only behind school baseball and travel baseball - it’s my favorite thing to do in my free time and I think I emphasized that

@jjlundy she will most likely rank you in the top 1% in her recommendation unless you do something to annoy her.

Also, consider applying to Case! I’m sure our admissions committee would award you a hefty scholarship. We’re very STEM-oriented, as well.

Bruh! You are literally me, except a white dude. (Literally exact same score-- even subscores-- for ACT, SAT IIs, very similar schedule., and applying to similar places.) I accidentally clicked on the chances thread and found myself here. Coincidence much?
I certainly would hope you have good chances lol :). Seriously, you’re obviously fine stats-wise so the holistic fuzz is what matters now. I think you will have a good shot at GT (I know it’s been getting really competitive even for in-state) since you are a strong applicant and legacy. For the privates, I’d say you have as good a shot as any if you write compelling essays and be true to yourself. Ima be honest and say your ECs are a little sketch but your work experience is good (and I totally get it. Serious reading is pretty legit.). Anyway, nobody is able to tell you what your chances are besides saying that you have a chance. So good luck!

@PeregrineFlute aye apply to Case and get a big scholarship.

GT- safety/match
Stanford- reach
Duke- reach
Davidson- high match
Vandy- reach
Notre Dame- match
Pepperdine- low match

best of luck:) would you be willing to trade essays?

@tryingforharvard Hi thank you for the response! I don’t really want to divulge my essays, but I would be happy to proofread one of yours for you if you would like me to.
