@Jpgranier
Are my chances that bad?
I made a comment about financial aid for internationals but I think I was incorrect so I edited it.
One thing I want to ask is: what’s your GPA on a 4.0 scale? Your average as of now is a 84. That’s about a 3.2ish if your grades convert normally.
If it is a 3.2, you would not qualify for free tuition at and if the Alabamas. Huntsville requires a 4.0 or higher for their full ride and Alabama requires a 3.5+ for the presidential.
Also a 3.2 would make it nearly impossible at any of the Ivy League schools or Stanford or MIT
Is it a 84 weighted or unweighted?
@Jpgranier
OK so I don’t know whether my gpa is weighted or unweighted but I’m in the top 20% of my class. You can’t convert the Indian GPA to a 4 point scale afaik. I know 4 people who got into Princeton from india and their grades were between 80 to 90.

Check this out. An 85 on the Indian scale is considered to be a 4.0.
