Oook....disclaimer: I switched schools in between freshman and soph. yr, and I went from a really easy school, to a really hard one.

GPA: W: 4.3-ish UW: 3.8-ish
But this may go down after this year. I got straight B's (ok....B+'s) for my AP classes....which I have a feeling is going to hurt me....a lot.
School is ranked pretty well in NJ.

ACT: 30 (33 E, 32 M, 31R, 25 S (gah))
Retaking in Sept....hoping for 32+

USH - 3 (fml)
Bio - 5

Mu Alpha Theta- i'm really involved. I give people their tutors and keep track of the tutoring service we offer.

Math League - no officer positions (not offered)....just go and take tests.
In a sports club I founded with a friend
Orchestra - I've been in various orchestras for all 4 yrs in HS (well....3 thus far, will be 4 once senior yr is done)

oh and i volunteer at an animal shelter every saturday morning, and am adding volunteering at the regional medical center soon. :)

^^didnt even chance OP at all lol, dont just reply with your own stats

You’ve actually done some interesting EC’s to show/support your interest in science, your standardized tests are a little low though, try to retake, especially bio if its your area of interest. however alot of your schools are really top notch so inevitably they’re reaches for anybody

JHU (ED-ing) - still a low reach
UPenn- low/mid reach
UMich - low match, probably in (instate?)
UChicago - high match/reach, difficult, most depends on essays and recs
Cornell - high match/low reach
Tufts - match
BU - match
RU?

Chanced you lol

Oh, sorry…RU = Rutgers University (state school)

bumppp…

JHU (ED-ing) - Mid Reach
UPenn- High Reach
UMich - Match (instate) Low Reach (Out of state)
UChicago - reach, depends on essays and recs
Cornell - Mid Reach
Tufts - High Match
BU - ?
RU - ?

In my high school, a B+ is a 3.4, so your overall GPA would go down couple of decimals. As for your SATII dilemma, I would retake it. Click on the link below to see the percentiles, as provided by Collegeboard. I know that 700+ is considered above average, but…

720 in Bio M is 78th percentile, meaning 21 percent of test takers did better
730 in Math II is 72nd percentile, meaning 27 percent of test takers did better.

And considering that you will be applying to some top-tier insitutions, I would strongly advise a retake.

But of course, please remember that despite what I have said, numbers are NOT everything.
