I am very interested and inclined to attending UPenn next year (I'm going to begin my senior year in a few weeks). I am very interested in the Huntsman program at UPenn, but I understand its selectivity level is very high and many people who might have had a shot at being one of those 40 some odd freshman students will not get in. For this reason, I have selected the college @ UPenn as my second choice (for ED) in my application.

These are my stats so far:
3.82 (U) GPA
2200 on my 1st SAT (700 CR, 740 M, 760 W) but I plan to take this again

SAT IIs: (not my best, but hopefully when I take the Math II and Spanish subject tests this year, I'll score much higher)
700 Bio
700 Chem
650 US (probably not a good score for international programs, right?)
690 Math I (this was not a typical result, I'm not sure what happened that day and I hope my Math II score can mask this)

APs:
US: 4
Chem: 4
Lit: 3
Euro: 3
(for my senior year, I'm taking 6 more AP courses, and even though I will take my tests after admissions/rejections, I hope my course selection helps my application)

1 Varsity Sport

Taken most challenging courses in HS, so I'm sure my transcript (minus the GPA) won't be a problem at all

Essay is about a profound trip I took to Africa and this one lady I met with a terrible story (which impacted me a lot)

Member of a total of about 12 clubs throughout HS, executive positions in 5 of those

Ex-Vice President of Class

Published photographer and writer

Have had 3 Part-time jobs throughout HS

NHS, Foreign Language Honors Society

Best Language Student Award

If there's anything else you'd like to know, just ask me on here! I'd be happy to answer it.
