Chance me for HYPSD, PLEASE! :) & Help with SCEA!

I stand corrected

Thanks redman… I just hope I get in somewhere good early action because I can’t really find financial safeties, only reaches. I am trying so hard to get my parents to spring for a college road trip so I can get to know Yale and Princeton better. Seeing as I’m on the east coast, visiting Stanford is no-go. Not really considering Dartmouth ED due to the binding thing and if you get in, they don’t try to seduce you at the legendary dimensions weekend as they do the RD prefrosh

I’m looking for some finiancial matches as well. You might want to apply to some top LAC’s like Vassar who promise to meet full financial aid (i’m not sure for internationals tho) with grants. Plus being a guy is an advantage at LAC’s.

being gay at vassar would definitely not be an issue, haha. I’m starting to consider schools even if they say they are need-aware or only have limited help for internationals. It’s something, and with my stats, there must be at least one school out there which will be happy to have me and maybe throw a little financial aid my way. Right now, I’m trying to make myself a better candidate. August will be nothing but community service, July will be nothing but studying latin so I can get more awards at the national convention (I’m shooting for a best-in-show for spoken latin). October, I’ll take the SAT’s once more to try to nail math, hopefully with a 770… I’m not quite sure I can bring the 780 CR to 800, that section’s kinda subjective and weird for me.

Wow, just did research on vassar and liked what I saw. It’ll have to do as my “safety” :/

WOOO, edit: Just looked at Williams and it’s need-blind even for internationals. Not that this matters, but I heard that Williams is the harvard of LAC’s… Or is that Amherst? (which I should also consider…)

any more help or suggestions? would be greatly appreciated! :)

Since you want to do classics, why arent you considering Brown… they have one of the best classics departments!

I am! I just didn’t put it down on this thread. The issue now is that ill have so many supplements and such to do… :/
