Chance me for JHU, Columbia, etc

Just chance me to any competitive school. I haven't decided exactly what school I want to go to. But here are my stats . Currently I'm a rising junior.

SAT: 2100+ (CR: 600+, M: 800, W: 700+.) Definitely will improve CR score. Will be taking my first SAT this oct or nov

-Placed 3rd in SuperQuiz

Rec Letters.
I have great letters from my Chem teacher, PreCalc teacher, English teacher, and almost every teacher I've had since freshman year.

So yeah. Basically all I want to know is on a scale of 1 (being the least competitive stats) and 10 (being most competitive stats), where am I and how can I improve?

*THANKS GUYS! *

I definitely think that you have a great chance for JH (8) and you’re in the ballpark for Colombia (5). Colombia has a weird admissions policy, my cousin who got a 2300, As and good resume though he was guaranteed for colombia, but got rejected ED and got into Yale regular decision. So u never know.

ps plz chance me back

bump

10char

Bump this again. I just want to know where I stand

If you can get the CR score on the SAT to 700 and write a good application essay then I think you’ve got great chance at JH.

Great!

Now how about columbia???

It’s hard to tell with a school like Columbia. They receive loads of applications and often end up rejecting many perfectly qualified applicants.

Oh :frowning: well how are my chances for competitive schools in general? (like HYPS MIT and etc :D)

In general all of them are extremely difficult to get into and it may come down to how good your admission essay is. I also think that HYPS require 2-3 SAT II Subject tests as well. And if they don’t, I recommend you do them anyway because it could help give your application the boost it needs.

Yep, planning on take Math 2 and Physics?/Chemistry?
