Thanks for chancing mine! I would say you’ll get in! Your stats are really impressive and they’d be crazy not to accept you. Keep doing what you’re doing and you have a really good chance!

I have Case, Ohio State University, and University as Pittsburgh as my safeties. I also am interested in Northeastern, Boston University, and Rochester!

Hey! Volunteering work sounds good. The ‘number’ of hours aren’t the key determinant, though an otherwise informative indicator. Try to bring out your learnings, feelings, thoughts about all that work, through essays/short questions. After all, it’s about “having one thing to say”, rather than “having to say something”.
So you may be tired of hearing this, but colleges take you for the whole you, that can’t be defined just in numbers and stats.
In terms of tangibles, you seem to be doing fine - good # of AP classes, etc.

On a new note, awesome, where did you do your research from? How did the idea come to you? :D

Thank you! That’s very helpful! And I did my research at a very prestigious hospital. And the idea came to me due to some advertising done from my school on it, so I decided to apply, and was very happy I got in! If you want some more specifics, message me! :)

Hopkins: High Reach.
Rice: Low Reach / Reach.

By you shadowing surgeries, I expect you will declare pre-medical. A 26 science score is not far above the 24 national average. If you do not bring that up to at least 30+ you can expect an immediate decline from Hopkins. If you can’t bring it up to a 30+, then I don’t believe you would be able to handle the work and getting in would only stress you out to the max.
