BUT! I’m homeschooled which they might discriminate against, I’m guessing. It is made pretty clear that I’m not a social outcast in essays though. I think that they generally tag us as pussies that can’t do anything though.
My mom is gonna straight up disown me if I don’t go to a good school so and help w/ chancing would help.
No I’ve just done a few shows in music and dance, I have never entered a contest for anything artistic. I hope thats not a huge deal because I’m not apply to art major
essay score…huge mood (I’ve been screwing up standardized writing since before it mattered. in fourth grade I wrote a haiku instead of an essay for a writing test). I think you definitely have a good shot at all of these! Tulane and Northeastern are definitely matches for you, and Hopkins (which tbh is a reach for everyone) you have more than a viable shot. It seems like a low reach kind of situation at JHU to me. Good luck (although you probably don’t need it!
@biologyhoe666 that’s fine; I was just wondering b/c any type of awards help. I’m not sure how rigorous your school is, but ik a guy who got into JHU with similar stats to you. Tulane and Northeastern are probably matches for you. gl!
I would expect you will get into all of them. I would have applied to some harder school. Not an advantage at Hopkins to appear premed, as well as the other factors you mention. However, 5 SAT II scores like that are good. Can you not send the ACT essay? I would have worked more on that.
