<p>I am a Senior and my dream is to go to Hunter. I really want to get into the Macaulay Honors College. Along with Hunter I have applied to City and Lehman. (I plan to be a chemistry major)

Have taken mostly all honors classes since Freshman Year.

Subject Tests: Math Level 2: 750

<p>I also applied to Macaulay Hunter first choice! I’m not going in the end, but I’m still curious to see if I’ll get in :).
You’re lucky that they’re not going to be looking at your writing score- you have a 1350 CR+M, which is, however, still lower than their average student SAT of about 1410. Your GPA is probably only slightly below what they’re looking for, but the SAT is pretty low.
The 30 ACT is also low, but I can’t find anything to compare it to, so…
While the first generation college student part will probably help, they say they look at you holistically, whatever they mean by that. Basically, they’re looking not only at grades but also at ECs, essays, etc. How do you think your essays are? If you don’t have many ECs then that may be a problem.
I’ll be honest, I’m not so sure about your chances, especially as Hunter is notoriously the most difficult to get into… If you don’t get in, though, City has an honors program independent of CUNY which may help give you the honors environment you want.
