Chance me for Michigan State University

Hi, I recently applied to MSU for early action in November of 2015. They gave me my decision in Mid December telling me that they need my 7th semester grades along with me to take the SBEI survery. I sent in my grades and did the survey as soon as my semester was over. After my sending in my grades, I had a 3.369 when previously I applied with a 3.381. I stayed around average and didnt get much worse. However, I didnt get a much better GPA after sending my 7th semester grades in. After doing that I got this message:

Your application to Michigan State is still under review. Due to increases in the quantity and quality of the freshman application pool for the fall semester, our office is carefully monitoring space and conducting thorough examinations of all fall semester applicants. Although no new information is available at this time, you will receive a decision on the status of your application on or before March 25, 2016.

I have an ACT score of a 22 and average GPA of a 3.369. I know my chances of getting in are slim but they have brought me this far into the process I feel like I might have a solid chance. I participated in Cheerleading and Softball and was active in DECA. I might not get positive feedback but that’s okay. I want honest opinions.

Hmmm. Well I applied on December 28th of 2015 and I have been checking my application status almost every day. Mine does not say what you have but says: Your application is currently under consideration with your reviewing counselor. You will receive an initial decision on your application for admission within 12 weeks. Your patience during the review process is greatly appreciated.

I’ll be honest with you, if they are saying that that the quality of the freshman applications are increasing for this pool then your chances might not be that great, but who knows.
