In the fall, I applied to Michigan State University with a 2.89 GPA and a 25 on my ACT. I have a total of six AP classes and an accelerated senior year schedule. In December, I heard back from MSU and they requested to view my seventh semester grades before they made a decision. I got my GPA up to very little above a 3.0 in that time frame. Just recently, my admission portal was updated, saying that I will know the status of my admission by mid-April. With the increase of my GPA and two recommendation letters (one is from a teacher I have had three years and who is also an alumnus of MSU) I have high hopes since MSU is my top college. So, my question is what is the likelihood of being accepted into MSU for the Fall 2015 semester or would I be more likely to have to wait until June and be accepted for the Spring 2016 semester? Any information about this process would be great.
