Hi everyone, I'm an international student that is going to apply this upcoming January. I'm intending to apply for Middlebury College ED2 with majors in English and Psychology.

SAT 2: Math II 800, Literature 730
GPA 3.65
My high school is very rigorous and prestigious in my city as well as in my country

3 years of being an English movie translator ( making subtitles and all ) for a well-known forum in my country
2 years joining Earth Hour in my country, from being an ordinary member to the manager assistant of PR team
2 years of being a writer for an English magazine in my country aiming at teaching and providing useful information for teenagers
Owner of a blog which provide reviews for books, movies, and Japanese mangas, generating about 4000 views after 3 months
I think my essay + recommendation letters are pretty good
I can afford about 24k and need financial aid for the rest

Do you guys think I'm any fit for Middlebury, because I really really really want to get in Middlebury!!!

CR is a bit low, grades are a little low. Internationals are not need-blind, so that also lowers your chances. Are you Japanese?
It honestly depends more on how many other students from your country have similar grades and skills. In “crafting a class”, the small LAC will accept a number of International students that they feel will succeed-certainly you have the skills, but I’m not sure how many students like you have applied.
I feel you have a chance but not higher than the rest of the ED2 pool.
I give you 30-40%

@OldbatesieDoc‌ What happens if I were a Japanese? Actually I’m from Viet Nam.
And thank you so much for the reply!!

Just wondering-I think your chances are marginally better as a Vietnamese than a Chinese applicant due to numbers only. Good luck!
