<p>Make sure your essays and recommendations, etc. are really good and set you apart as much as possible. The MIT application seems to hinge primarily on those: they have lots of good GPAs and test scores to choose from. Check the MIT admissions blogs if you haven’t already for advice on that. <p>It’s disappointing how your ECs are only for a year or two, there isn’t much continuity or long term activities you’ve been involved in? Sorry, you’re top schools look nearly out of reach for you.</p>
<p>i have only been studying in US for my 10th and 11th Grade, got more ECs back in China but most likely they are not being widely concerned by colleges in the US</p>
