Chance me for MIT, Hopkins, Cornell, Tufts, CMU

What are my chances at:

MIT
Brown
Cornell
Johns Hopkins
Tufts
Carnegie Mellon
Haverford
Brandeis

My Stats:

SAT: 2170(Math-760, Writing-720, Reading-690)

SAT II: Math Level 2-750, Physics-750

Unweighted GPA: 3.9

Class Rank: My school doesn't rank, but I am definitely in the top 5%

Extracurriculars: Three sport athlete, guitar player, done some community service, calculus teaching assistant, member of two clubs.

Essays: My counselor said my commonapp essay was unbelievable.

Recommendations: These should be excellent, I saw my counselor's and it was really great.

Assuming you are not recruited for a sport, here is what my predictions are:

MIT-High Reach
Brown-Reach
Cornell- Low Reach (CAS), Reach (CoE)
Carnegie Mellon- Depends on which school you are applying to
Johns Hopkins-High Match/Low Reach (assuming you are not applying for BME)
Tufts-I think you’ll get in
Haverford/Brandeis- I’m not familiar with this colleges

Reasoning:
-You have good scores and grades (not the absolute best, but strong nonetheless)…CR is a bit weak
-Nothing is dazzling about your ECs (unless you are recruited for a sport, of course)

Hope this helped,
Good luck!

Thanks WongTongTong

One question though,

Why is Cornell (CAS) a low reach and Cornell (COE) a reach? Why are they not both the same?

Engineering is harder to get into than CAS at Cornell.

MIT-High Reach
Brown- Reach
Cornell- Low Reach (CAS)
- Reach (CoE)
Carnegie Mellon- Reach
Johns Hopkins- Low Reach
Tufts- High Match
Haverford - ?
Brandeis- You should be in no problem

Hopefully see you next year- we’re applying to a couple of the same schools!
Chance me back?

Brandeis, Haverford - match
Tufts - high match
Carnegie Mellon - depends on which school you apply to, but I’d guess a low reach
Hopkins- low reach
MIT, Brown, Cornell- high reach

I agree with Wong
