I did forget to include that I’m a girl and a first-gen, and I am also concurrently enrolled in LSU for this year for Calc III and Electricity and Magnetism this fall and Lin. Alg+Diff. Eq. and another science course yet to be determined in the spring. MIT and Georgia Tech are my top two but this thread truly illuminated to me how fickle admissions decisions can be. I’m not the strongest writer, but I can count on my essays to be at least decent. I posted this for the purpose of gauging how strong my profile was, and I’m grateful for all of the advice and help.
