<p>I had an A in calculus until the final exam dropped me to a 89, and my teacher does not round up. Spanish was the same situation. Prior to this, my stats were as follows:</p>

2011--Job Shadowed with doctor at BMS Pharmaceuticals, took advanced math course over summer at local college for credit/ grade
2010--Summer school chemistry to get ahead, piano competitions, archery competitions
2009--Summer school health to get ahead, piano competitions</p>
<p>Extra-Curricular activities:
Archery--4 years, earned teaching license from NFAA
Piano--12 years, classically trained, accompanist for church, awards</p>
<p>Co-Curricular activities:
School newspaper--3 years (earliest you can apply is 10th grade), Lifestyle Editor, Editor-in-chief, redesigned paper, won President's Volunteer Service Award in journalism
NHS--3 years (earliest you can apply is 10th grade), only accepts 3% of student body (~40 members of 3000 students)
California Scholarship Federation--4 years, high honors, president for two years, hosted school's first conference, founded "active" chapter on campus
Western Association of Schools and Colleges student liaison/ student planning committee--worked with faculty, parents, and students, on the accreditation board for school, interviewed by statewide WASC officers
TOMS Club--3 years, president for two, secretary for one, visited TOMS headquarters in Santa Monica</p>
<p>Volunteer activities
-Founder and Counselor of Youth Leadership Program that is aligned with California Public School Standards (campfirework.org)
-Church volunteer--piano accompanist, youth group liaison, book club founder/ leader, Bible study teacher, VBS teacher

-10+ awards from state and city for Camp Firework camp</p>
<p>My recommendation letters were both excellent. My history teacher of two years gave me his highest recommendation in his 18 years of teaching. </p>
<p>I'm worried about what my mid-year report will do. Prior to this report, I had received straight A's with 2 B's in both semesters of AP Calc. Your input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! </p>
