Hi, I’m a current junior that would like some baseline advice. I understand that many factors can change between now and application time senior year, but I am pretty unsure about where to start in terms of my college admissions process so any advice is appreciated.
State: NY
School Type: Public, somewhat competitive
Ethnicity: Asian ORM
Gender: Female
Income Bracket: ~150k
No hooks
SAT I: 1530 and 17 essay, planning on taking a second in March
ACT: N/A, may take one in April
SAT Subject Test: N/A, may take one or two depending on how much time I have to study this year
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.75
Weighted GPA: 3.85/4.0

APs: World History (4), Human Geo (4), currently taking Calc AB, Lang, US History, Physics 1, will take Statistics, Physics C Mech, Macro, Comp Sci senior year.

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): JV XC 10-12, JV Winter Track 11-12, JV Spring Track 11-12, board positions on two school clubs, but both clubs aren’t anything serious like DECA or MUN, and my positions are not very high up.
Volunteer/Community service: ~650 hrs as summer camp volunteer TA since summer before 9th grade.
Essays: Don’t know yet but probably average
Teacher Recommendation: ^^
Colleges I’m Looking At:
Northeastern
BC
BU
Binghamton
Stony Brook
Fordham
My college list is very tentative and at the moment, it’s largely based on what people from my school apply to. I’m assuming the first three on my list are matches/low reach, and the last three are safeties/low matches. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. I would prefer a school located in the Northeast that doesn’t have a crazy high tuition price. I know my stats are very average for the most part, but at this point most of it will end up how I listed here. I have no idea what my major will be, but I’m not sure if being undecided will hurt me, though I’m leaning towards STEM majors. Hopefully my slightly lower grades in math and science (5-6 B-/B/B+ compared to A-/A/A+ everywhere else) will not hurt me.
Thanks for any advice!
