<p>jrpar. There is no school with an “average” SAT of 2200. Read the statistics and descriptions carefully. For example, the schools provide their middle 50% range for each section of the test and then add those ranges to produce a purported “total SAT” range. This, of course, presumes that the same people are producing those scores across the three sections and that is simply not the case. Take my word for this. Also, the “average score” would be somewhere near the midpoint of the middle 50% range. I have analyzed this many different ways. There is no school with an “average” SAT score of 2200.</p>
