Good test scores, good ec’s and opportunities. You have a genuine chance at Northwestern. Now it is all about writing good essays and acing your interview.

University of Pittsburg is top 20 internationally for Neuroscience. While it may not be nationally ranked as high as many of your others. If Neuroscience is your interest Pitt is best of the schools you mentioned. You may even get money to attend with your scores!

The rep who visited our high school was very clear that they don’t look kindly on kids who apply just to see if they get in - have you visited? Make it very, very clear why it’s a great fit for you and what you can bring specifically to Northwestern’s campus.

@4gsmom,
I did visit (quite a long journey from home in PA lol)! I loved campus and the programs that they have to offer and poured my heart into the supplement. Definitely am not applying just to see if I can get in.

That should work in your favor! Good luck!

Northwestern does track demonstrated interest, so having visited the school definitely helps.
