GPA is fine. SAT’s are on the low side for ND (1340-1520 is their middle 50%). EC’s are kind of plain vanilla, except for the Eagle Scout thing. Varsity athletics are something ND seems to like. Don’t know if you reported your AP scores, but they probably won’t do much to help. I wouldn’t be surprised to see you deferred to RD at ND. You do seem like the archetype ND kid, though, just with scores that are slightly on the low side. What do I know, though. My daughter applied to ND via EA and is applying as an OOS applicant to UVa RD and I haven’t a clue as to whether she’ll get in either. Best of luck!

My daughter’s stats were very similar to yours and she was accepted EA to both ND and UVA last year. Good luck to you!

Thank you ejcclc and Jea828! Also, best of luck to your daughter ejcclc.

you should be good for sure for UVA.

Bump, I am confident for UVA, and am looking more for opinions on Notre Dame
