i'm a female from hungary but i grew up bilingually (german and hungarian). i currently attend a bilingual school with a strong german-hungarian curriculum.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.92 unweighted</p>
<p>we are required to study up to 14 different subjects per year</p>
<p>For my senior secondary leaving examinations I am predicted all As and I will do 4 Higher Level and 1 standard level subject (usually students do only 2 higher levels and 3 standard levels)</p>
<p>languages:
-fluent and native speaker of german and hungarian
-english (TOEFL 106/120)
-french (DELF)</p>
<p>ECs:
-member of the student government since 7th grade as a class representative, now elected president of the student government
-model united nations in germany 3 years (delegate, chair, now general secretariat member) i also volunteered to organise the conferences which means work for the netire year
-model european parliament, made it to the final nationwide round, head of hungarian delegation
-make a wish volunteer since i was 12, apart from fullfilling wishes i also regularly translate the website to english and german
-winner of several local swimm competitions, i was also a summer camp counselor and swim teacher last summer
-founding member of key club hungary, now secretary
-internship at the american chamber of commerce (10th grade)
-part time job as a babysitter for two kids
-i also had several summer jobs like hostess, shop assistant, event organizer
-participated in several school productions (musical and theater)
-i have recently produced short company films for local businesses</p>
<p>Recommendations and essays:
i will have a strong recommendation from my english teacher who is also our vice principal and has worked with me on several ec projects and three additional ones. i am currently working on my essays. they should be good too as I am a strong writer</p>
<p>my intended major would be political science and perhaps a minor in economics and/or psychology. not sure yet. i would like to spent my freshman year exploring all possible courses...</p>
