I know the acceptance rate is super, super low for NYUAD... but what do you think?

Do u have any international experiences? Or do u show a cosmopolitan horizon in the essays? Since the admitted ones are all super high in scores and super excellent in ECs, I think NYUAD is more about match.

Actually, yes! I’ve traveled and studied in Kenya, and Qatar for the United Nations conference, and I wrote about my interest in international climate negotiations in my essay! Do you think that counts?
I realize now how much I want it more than the others… should have applied EDII :/

You really think I could get in? <3
I’ve applied to 8 other schools, no worries, plus NYUAD has extremely generous aid, and living there wouldn’t be a problem.

Wow those are wonderful experiences. NYUAD is absolutely my dream school, but the acceptance rate really intimidated me from applying ED2. I’m Chinese, but in China none was admitted through ED this year.

just curious- are the “abroad” NYU schools a lot more selective? how selective are NYU london and abu dhabi in terms of average scores/acceptance rate?

@xingyue Thank you! It’s my dream school as well. Why were you intimidated–because nobody in China got in ED? I don’t even know what to think about the acceptance rate…I’m trying not to think too much about it and trust myself. Good luck to you during RD! Maybe see you at a Candidate Weekend? We can hope.

@oohtobeagooner yes they are more selective–NYUAD is like 2.1% or something around that. They have more information on the websites!
