High match for both NYU and BU and a bit of a stretch for UCLA, Berkeley, Vanderbilt and definitely for Brown. I would recommend retaking the ACTS

@Hapaz98 : thanks but with 2200 would you recommend any other schools? It is not likely that I will retake the ACT so the better solution is to look into other schools that fits my profile right now. Thanks anyway!

BU is a low match. You are way above average based on your stats.

Nevermind I have been accepted to NYU

You’re not a URM.URMs are Latinos, blacks, etc. You actually have somewhat of a disadvantage in the admission process since Asians are overrepresented, making them an overrepresented minority.

Congrats on NYU!!!

Temple with Presidential vs NYU full pay.

Interesting decision

@ClarinetDad16 : it seems strange isnt it!! anw I decided to go with NYU!

@okon2122 : yeh probably  I didnt know what ‘hooks’ are so

Curious is NYU worth 4x cost Temple?

@ClarinetDad16 : with the scholarship in Temple then yes. It is way more expensive:)

Why NYU for $200,000 more?

@ClarinetDad16 : finance is not my family’s problem. I and my family really want me to go to NYU this fall! it’s just a matter of different perspectives.

I would ask for $200,000 in a mutual fund or investment property and go to Temple.
