<p>I've volunteered at my local library for many hours and have also volunteered at our local haunted house attraction. I have an after school job working at an ice-cream shoppe and have done a job shadow for my town's newspaper. I've had two short stories published (My passion is writing novels).</p>

<p>I will have really good recommendations from at least two high school teachers and the teacher I work for in my Peer Discovery class (he works at a middle school and was my 8th grade teacher). Hopefully, I'll write a miraculous essay. I've been told my writing is phenomenal... Don't know how good my portfolio will be. I want to major in Dramatic Writing and maybe double major in English (Education).</p>

<p>My safety school is UNCW (University of North Carolina at Wilmington), and my safety safety school is East Carolina University (nearly everyone gets accepted here at my school). I think I could be content at UNCW as there is are great film internships to be achieved there as many shows and movies filmed here and the vibe is right. I just really want to do something extraordinary, and the multitude of opportunities at NYU and just the overall environment has always lured me.</p>
