Hi,

I was admitted this year to NYU (LSP) with very similar stats (2090 SAT and 3.67 junior year, eventually raised to 3.75 senior year). The only difference was that I have national awards for journalism. I can really only speak for NYU when I say that you should try to raise your SAT up a little higher. I just barely got into NYU, and I didn’t even apply for the hardest school, which is the business school, Stern. This is with a record number of applicants applying this year. Since you’re applying next year, you should probably assume the worst-case scenario, which is that NYU will get more competitive, so you should really try to raise your SAT score in order to stand out more. Trust me, it means a lot more than you think.

Thank you! I forgot to edit the original message (I copied it over from another chance thread… I don’t expect to get anything past a 2200).

Can anyone else chance me?
