<p>Your SATs and URM status will help, but for Berkeley and Stanford in particular, it’s going to be almost impossible to overcome that GPA. If you’re applying for engineering at UMich, you’re going to have a tough time getting in, although you should apply EA and demonstrate interest, as both will increase your chances (I applied RD and with no demonstrated interest–I had a 3.78/2350 and was waitlisted). I think you have a good shot at Urbana, BU, and Northeastern. You’ve got a pretty good shot at NYU, as well. I won’t comment on Rutgers or Indiana, as I don’t know much about either.</p>
