Chances? I'll gladly chance you back if you post a link to your thread!

Schools:
UPenn(Wharton)
UMich
Carnegie Mellon (Tepper)
NYU (Stern)
Georgetown (McDonough)
Emory
WashU (Olin)
Cornell
Boston College (Carroll)

wharton’s a crapshot… i just feel like your ECs don’t scream “WHARTON!” ya know? but no hard feelings…i wish you best of luck! and btw, according to Penn’s policy, you have to send in ALL ACT and SAT test scores… if you don’t believe me, call them.

What about the other schools?
Yeah I sent my SATs because I EDed Wharton
haha thanks though

Your GPA is on the low side for Wharton and Cornell, but I’d say you have a good chance at all the other schools.

does your school rank?

Wow, great stuff!

I like how you show your natural talents (math, science, leadership) and also reveal that you’re not one of those kids who avoids classes that aren’t directly related to his field of primary interest. And it’s no small advantage that it looks like you’re talented all-around.

From what you show, you’re a model of an ambitious, thoughtful, inspiring, and ethical businessman of the future. Talk about some of the dramatic things on there, like being an EMT-B, volunteering on good medical causes, and being a successful fundraiser for a noble effort. This stuff matters.

Send them a music supplement if you think it would be the best you’ve ever played, but I warn you, it could risk you being compared with potential music majors, who may or may not be stronger players. It all depends on the year.

What does music mean to your life? You obviously enjoy it. Why? Music+Math+Foreign Language+Business=Order to chaos. You like to decipher codes to turn them into useful or beautiful things. This could be really deep.

Why business? What do you want to do in business? Have you interned before? What have you learned from your interest?

Finally, give as many interviews as you can. What you are doing is so big that some people might not see the linking thread, other than sheer talent. Talk to an interviewer and let them see why you are so good at what you do and back up your sweet GPA/ACT with some interpersonal communication. If you want to be in business, dealing with people who have power and selling them on you is something you are probably pretty good at and need to show.

Shoe-in for UMich, Carnegie Mellon (Tepper), BC (Carroll), and Emory. Likely for Wash U (Olin), Georgetown (McDonough), and NYU (Stern) Cornell and Penn (Wharton) are never easy for anyone, but if anyone can do it, you can. Interview for them and show them passion to go there, that you already ARE a Penn (Wharton)/Cornell Man, and going there will be a good fit for them as well as a good fit for you. Your scores sound awesome, and based on someone I know who got into Penn (though not Wharton School), you can do it.

Best of luck. I hope this helps. Can you chance mine? I don’t know how to post a link in the thread, but it’s called Crossing My Fingers and it’s in the What Are My Chances section like yours. Thanks.

Peace.

^holy shiet

Infos33k3r’s chance = brain splodded

UPenn(Wharton): obviously this is really really hard to get into. My cousin applied in his 30s after getting his B.A. with honors at U of Virginia and working as a successful urban planner for many years and he eventually got in… on his second try. With your stats, if you really want to go to Penn in general, I would recommend applying into the regular fold.
UMich match
Carnegie Mellon (Tepper) high match
NYU (Stern) match
Georgetown (McDonough) match
Emory ??
WashU (Olin) ??
Cornell - if you apply ED you have a REALLY REALLY good shot
Boston College (Carroll) match to high match

decent chance at Penn, reach b/c of slightly low GPA for them. Cornell and others would be likelier acceptances
