Chance me for Pepperdine University

Dear student,

As requested, I incorporated your scores, GPA, leadership, and extracurriculars into a systematically devised function of calculatory means that I developed to precisely calculate percent chance of admission to various universities in the US and abroad. The results are as follows (these are the percent chances that you will be accepted at the below named institutions of higher educatory education):

Pepperdine University: 41.209%

Please note that these are only derived from my own personal formula which seems to accurately predict admissions chances pretty well. Hope this helps!

can u tell me what decrease my chances…coz except the SAT scores which is the last thing Pepperdine cares of i don’t really get what cause my chances to be 41%…the GPA i wrote its not the right 1 coz i don’t really know how to calculate it from percents…secondly my major is computer science which is not a popular major at Pepperdine( bringing up my chances a little bit) i know alot of programming languages such as C ,C++ C# and Paskal…i did bagrut exams in computer science and robotics, math 5 units [israeli units] which is really hard [the material of college] and also english 5 points…i am really confused right now…:S i am not saying my chances are 100% but 41%??:S anyway…thanks

bump bump bump

does anyone know if there are any schools like pepperdine that aren’t religiously affiliated? (the location is mostly what i’m looking for)

i think you’re in
chance me back!

se

I think that you have a chance if you’re not looking for financial aid, just like the others have said. Good luck! :**)

Thanks you!! :)

Can anyone else chance me?? I will chance him back!;)

Hello!

I’m also an International student (although I live in the US) applying to Pepperdine, and the way I see it, I think you have just about average chance of getting in - a match school, per se. Your unique extracurriculars and outstanding recs will be the good stuff. I think it’s all a matter of how you retest on your SATs and how well you write your essays. It’s way more competitive for Internationals to be accepted in US colleges… but in this case, because you come from Israel, I think it’ll work for you, not against you.
Be sure to apply to 1-2 other colleges in the US if you really would like to study in the US, though.

Hope that helped!

monicaglee - I didn’t find any university which is similar to Pepperdine…
but maybe I am applying to the University of Alabama too…I hope I get in Pepperdine…I can’t imagine myself going to somewhere else…

Go Waves!!!

My correct GPA is 3.92 !!!I have just noticed that honors count differently…lol and I have 4 honors so…[in Israel honor= 5 units]
There is a website that calculates it…

So can someone chance me again??
thanks!

bump bump bump

Hi–thanks for chancing me!

I don’t know a whole lot about international applications (or Pepperdine, to be perfectly honest) but your scores seem great for them, and applying as a Jew to a Christian school is a great hook! I think you’ll get in. Good luck!

I think you have a good chance. You are pretty well-rounded. the only weak aspect is one of your SATII scores but your GPA makes up for it.
just make sur eyour essay stands out.

well, considering your low CRs, and that your ECs lack depth, i dont think its too likely

and one of your recommendations has to be a personal one, about your character.

its totally possible, but i just dont know…

Thank u!!!
kevdo- hmm we don’t have clubs and things like that in Israel…and the recommendation letter from ness technologies is about my character…

Thanks for chancing me! As long as you can bring your writing and CR scores up, I think you’ll do fine.
