Thanks to everyone who chances me!

You sure have a lot of “dream” schools…

It’ll probably help your applications if you can actually drill down and really discover why Princeton, Harvard, Penn, Cornell and Brown attract you. Certainly more than just the Ivy moniker I hope. But probably a coin flip either way.

Unless you do that, your apps to each of those five will be bland copies of one another… and easily forgettable.

Congrats on your academic achievements to date. Good luck to you.

You can get a good education at any of the Ivies, so I would not concentrate on just 1 or 2. I would also include MIT and Cal Tech in your list.

^^not all ivys are created equal…some are clearly better than others…there is a noticeable variance and personalities within this “athletic league”…choose wisely and carefully among these schools as T26E4 noted…

…also be strategically smart in applying to national academic powerhouses from each region to have a better “chance” of getting into at least one school that you truly want to go to…and have options to compare schools with different financial aid packages to choose from come May 1 next year…

…it appears you are interested in being a PREMED/biology/biomedical engineering looking at your background…if that is the case…I would definitely add Duke from the South, Chicago from the Midwest, and Stanford from the West…

…I hesitate about MIT and Caltech because they may hurt your GPA despite being great schools…now, if you were clearly engineering/STEM without medical school in your FUTURE that is a different story…

…remember, medical schools are very sensitive about how high your GPA is in college…

…just food for thought.
