Chance me for Purdue Engineering

Im a Rising senior First-Year Engineering major, with a 3.83 CGPA for my high school career. I have a 29 composite ACT (33E, 33R, 22M, 28S).

I was elected National Honor Society secretary for senior year, and have been an NHS member for two years. I have two years of Varsity tennis, two years of JV football, a year of JV basketball, and now go to kickboxing year-round along with tennis. I had over 90 internship hours at my local fire department assisting on the ambulance, and I co-organized several community service projects, and have participated in many more.

I'm IN-STATE as well but I'm not sure how much that helps. I've also considered applying for MechE Technology as well, which I think I am a lock for.

I also went on a campus visit, and admissions told me the average ACT was a 31 and the average GPA was a 3.9 for the College of Engineering. I’m assuming they might lower the standards a but for an in-state student, but not much.

I think it’s definitely a match, but are you considering taking the ACT again? It shouldn’t be too difficult for you to raise your score since math seems to be the only section really holding it down, and I think it would increase your chances quite a bit.

It would be a high match for in state. One uncertainty is the pool of oos may increase drastically due to the common app this year.
