I don’t see any schools listed.

I’m sorry you couldn’t afford the AP tests with fee reduction. If you have a chance this year, I suggest you fund raise somehow and take them. While the upfront expense is large, the credits will save you more later.

In addition to in-state schools you should apply to schools that meet need.

Run the net price calculator on several schools…those you know like Rice. And those you may not like Dennison.

Also look at W&L Johnson, American Frederick Douglas and SMU for full rides.

Check application dates. If you are a senior you missed some deadlines.

Good luck to you.

Possible to take the ACT or SAT?

26 ACT or 1260 SAT → full ride at Prairie View A&M
28 ACT or 1300 SAT → full ride at Tuskegee (check whether it is automatic, automatic up to a limited number, or competitive, as the web site is not that clear about it)

I know this probably doesn’t help you now, but the college board gives a discount on AP fees for low income students and Texas also offers assistance. When we needed help, I had to ask our guidance department. They knew we qualified but didn’t offer.
