bump

opinions?

I’d say Georgetown is a reach (it’s a reach for any applicant, though). Slightly lower GPA and SATII scores for the normal accepted student. Your SAT is really good though, and the stellar math score will definitely help. Becoming assistant manager is a rare feat for a high schooler and shows maturity and responsibility. Good luck!

I think you have a chance based on the information you provided. I would definitely spend some quality time on your essays and ensure that all of your “real-world” experiences translate into why you are a good candidate for admissions.

Bump

Any other opinions?

need to update my UW gpa…on a 4.0 scale it is a 3.59…basically 3.6 with an upward trend from 3.45 8th grade to 3.71 junior year…does a 3.6 take me out of the running for georgetown?

I think you have a good chance! Like 40% provided you write good essays. good luck man

just wanted to update my 1st semester grades and get any revised opinions!
Senior Year Grades 1st Semester:
French 5H - 98
Physics H - 92
Calculus AB AP - 87
AP English Lit. and Comp. - 95
AP Government - 90

Just nitpicking, Calc being your lowest average when applying to the business school is awk.

@csihsis yeah i worry about that, but theres nothing much more i can do i have an extremely picky teacher who has a reputation for giving out notoriously hard tests…had i had any other of the calc teachers my average would be more in line with the rest (but of course that doesnt matter what so ever in the grand scheme of applications)
