Chance Me for Rice Early Decision 2014

I am currently a junior enrolled in a public high school in Long Island, New York. My stats are as follows:

SAT: 2140 (I'll take again)
Math: 750
CR : 720
Writing: 670

SAT ii's:
Chemistry: 720 (may send in)
Math 1 : 620 (definitely not sending in)
Biology E : 670 (may send in)
Taking math 2 and retaking math 1 this year (possibly Physics also)

GPA (on a 4.5 scale):
4.43 (weighted) -- hopefully 4.52 by end of year
4.1 (unweighted) -- hopefully 4.13 by end of year
The max weighted GPA (or so I've heard) is a 5.2.

Course load:
I'm taking mostly all Honors/ AP classes.
I haven't taken an AP yet so I have no scores to give.
I earned two B+'s freshman year, one B+ in French in Sophomore year (****?), and I'll probably get one or two this year, otherwise I have either A's or A+'s

Extra-curriculars:

Rowing team (9,10)

Video-production club (10,11, President)
*One of the founding members after my school received a grant for video equipment (basically the club would not exist without me)

Future Business Leaders of America ( 10, 11, Secretary -- hopefully President by next year)

Junior Class Club (11, Treasurer)
*I additionally built logos and other graphics for the Junior Prom

Newspaper (10, 11, Staff Writer)
*I write funny current events articles similar in style to The Daily Show or The Colbert Report

Young Entrepreneurs Club (Co-founder)

English Honor Society( 11, possible leadership position next year)

Science Honor Society ( 11, possible leadership position next year)

National Honor Society (11, probably just a member)

Mu Alpha Theta (not currently in this club because admittance starts next year but I will probably make it)

I play the stock market game in my free time.

Also, I don't know if this will help me with anything but I've also biked across Europe (Amsterdam to Venice), built a kayak and kayaked up the coast of Maine for 2.5 weeks, and went backpacking in Wyoming (all during my summers with different travel companies). I'm afraid that these things will make me come across as spoiled because my parents basically pay for me to do them. Still, I am really grateful for the experiences and they've helped me grow a lot as a person.

I also spent my entire February vacation rebuilding homes for Katrina victims in New Orleans with an organization called the St. Bernard Project.

I'm probably forgetting something.

My mother went to Yale and my father went to Tulane

Thanks for reading and leaving a response. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I'll chance back.

Low reach. EC’s are solid but I think your SAT is a bit below average.
