Chance me for some schools?

Hi, all! I'm a junior. Based on my stats so far, I was wondering if you guys could give your thoughts on my chances at some or all of these schools:

Georgetown University
Williams College (Legacy)
Brown University
Dartmouth College
Bowdoin College
Colgate University (Double legacy, grandfather knows someone important there pretty well but I'm not sure who)
Trinity College
St. Lawrence University
University of Virginia

Here are my stats.

GPA: 92/100 W (School does not give us UW GPA, nor do they tell us how our weighting system works.)
SAT: Taking them in the spring. My projected scores (based on PSATs) are 720 CR, 660 M, and 800 WR.
Rigor of Coursework: Essentially all Honors and AP classes.
Rank: School doesn't rank. Probably top 20-ish percent - my class has about a hundred people in it, and a bunch of super-driven people that get better grades than I. Probably not more than 15-20 of those people, though.
Race: Caucasian
Gender: Male
Income Bracket: ~$150-200k+ per year
Location:: A very competitive public high school in Maine.
Hooks: Legacy at Williams through my father, double legacy at Colgate through my mom's father and dad's father. Skipped a grade in elementary school but that's not really a hook.

Extracurriculars: (Place leadership and time spent in parentheses)

Maine Youth Court, a court system based on restorative justice for youth and teens who have committed crimes. It works to divert them from the punitive court system and to give them punishments which repair the harm done to the community (2 years, been with it since its creation)

Model UN/b

Playmakers*, my High School's drama society. (Likely candidate for President but, again, not a sure thing. 3 years)

Improvisational Theatre Club, the high school's club for improv comedy. (President/Co-Founder)

The Young Company, the teen division of a local black box/improv theatre company. (3 years)

Private Trumpet Study/b

Private Voice Study/b

*Jazz Band/b

Volunteering:

The Theater Project, teaching theater/improv skills to young/underpriveleged children at the same black box theater where I do shows

Just a side note, I do get volunteer credit for doing the Maine Youth Court, but it's more of an extracurricular in my eyes.

Awards:

Berklee Jazz Judge's Choice Award, an award given by judges at the Berklee Jazz Festival to "exceptional players."

Thespian Award, for serious involvement in the school's drama society

My chief concerns would probably be my math score, GPA, and lack of any serious awards. Chance me?

Your projected SAT is a 2170. I cannot fully understand your GPA so I will not be able yo chance you. Try to bring up your SAT to a 2250+ for Dartmouth but your EC are fine.
Chance me
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1614191-what-are-my-chances-to-get-into-these-elite-institutions.html#latest</a></p>

If you can get at least a 2200 on your SAT these will be your chances:

UVA - match
GTown - reach
Brown - high reach
Dartmouth - reach
Williams - high match
Bowdoin - match

not sure about the rest. try to get some more leadership positions too.

My thread (chance please): <a href=“Chances for Vanderbilt, UNC, NYU, UF, and Duke? - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610985-chances-for-vanderbilt-unc-nyu-uf-and-duke-p1.html</a></p>

Bumping this. By the way, on a 4-point scale my GPA would be roughly a 3.74.

Forget the PSAT, it is not really accurate of actually SAT scores. Your ECs need some attention. We get it, you like theater. Try to do some things that are a bit different and maybe even uncharacteristic. Start a sky-diving team or something.

You have a decent shot at all of the schools you mentioned, providing your test scores pan out.

^I hear a lot of different things about my EC’s. Some say they’re good because they show dedication to something, others say I need more variety. The problem with trying to add more “variety” now would be that, on my college application, it’d look like I just started something to get it on my college application. Thoughts?

For your EC’s, I think I’d tell you the same thing you said to me! Then again, if you enjoy them, it really isn’t a problem. You’re involved, you’re having fun, that’s what counts. All are either matches and the ivy’s, as they are for all, are reaches. You should still try though, because you have a shot.

Thanks for the input! I forgot to mention that I’ll be doing Rowing in the spring this year and next year.

Your GPA is a bit lack - luster but it could be worse. I think you have a solid shot at these schools and over all have created a pretty solid list. As long as you test scores come through you should be fine.

Chance me back:
