What should I do to improve?

SAT. Needs to go way up. To be competitive for stanford, cornell your looking at 2200.
Gpa is great, so is your rank.

your ECs aren’t bad, that being said, they aren’t stanford caliber.

GPA- great.
Rank- great.
Grades- great.
SAT- not so great. however, i’m sure you can improve by looking at all of your other academic stats. raise it to 2200-2300 to be considered competitive for stanford, vandy, cornell, etc.
EC’s- great. you have a lot of leadership positions that are focused in specific areas.

just get your SAT scores up and you’re competitive!

chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1304596-chance-me-ill-chance-back.html

Your SAT and extracurriculars will hurt you. If you get that score up to 2250+ (or a comparable score on the ACT), Stanford and Cornell will be high reaches and Vanderbilt a low reach.

You have 18 As and 1B and a SAT score of 1880. Are you such a poor SAT taker. First read SILVERTURTLE’s manifesto on how to take SATs. Get some good guides. Do as many practice tests as you can. If your grades are true reflection of your academic abilities, there is no reason you can’t get 2280+. Work hard to get the SATS or APs up otherwise Adcoms may not be even see your wonderful grades.

Your GPA and course load are pretty great! Ask your advisor/school office if they can recommend any SAT classes/programs… there are a lot out there. Some are much better than others, obviously, so do some research to find the ‘best one’ (ambiguous, I know) available. But ultimately, it depends on you.

Anyway, SWAT? As in you operate snipers in extreme security situations? Or as in the high school snowboarding team? But it says you’re in Florida so I’m confused.

Sorry I haven’t been the most helpful! If you’re on the real SWAT team, that’s pretty impressive and would be a great hook!!

Will you chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1303340-georgetown-chances-will-chance-back.html
