Please chance me for: Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, Cal Tech, MIT, Penn, USC

Thanks! Please give me any advice that you have.

You're in at the uc's and usc.
UPenn: Slight Reach
Cal Tech, MIT, Stanford: Reach

You have a really good shot at the top schools due to impressive scores, grades and rank, and you have decent ec's, but college admissions are very unpredictable so you never know. I'm willing to bet you'll get into at least one of them. You might as well apply to all the others, too. A lot of people in my school got mixed acceptances/rejections from HYPS, so I think it would be good to apply to a lot of them.

^^ Stanford has method. They aren't completely unpredictable; it's simply that we can only say so much with the information given to us (which usually excludes essays and recs, two areas which have a huge influence in Stanford's admissions).

your GPA is awesome, and I do believe that you'll be able to raise your SAT score to 2300+, which will be great.

I do agree with others that your EC's are pretty average, (because most of your EC's seem like school clubs, which aren't very impressive or outstanding) but they definitely aren't horrible or anything.

For you, getting into the top schools will be determined by your essays. You have to show them your passion.

My predictions (assuming that you are a californian):

Stanford - reach
UC Berkeley - match
UCLA - match
UCSD - safety
Caltech - reach
MIT - reach
Penn - low reach
USC - safety
