i am currently a senior in high school and i was thinking about applying to these colleges next year.

@macymariexox, Check the [SUNY website](https://www.suny.edu/media/suny/content-assets/documents/summary-sheets/Admissions_qf_stateop.pdf) to compare the SAT and GPA ranges of accepted students. Last year, Albany’s middle 50% (CR + M) was 1100-1240, New Paltz’s was 1080-1230, and Oneonta’s was 1060-1120. The GPA range for each was 88-94.
Your 1050 CR + M puts you below the low end for all of them. New Paltz gets the most apps of any SUNY, so competition there will be tough, but your scores are in range for Brockport, Buffalo, and Plattsburgh. Try to get your SAT up 100 points to make yourself more competitive and apply to a couple of the others too, just in case.
