Chance me for TCNJ, Rutgers New Brunswick, and University of Delaware

Hello
So I am a high school senior applying for a nursing program and I was wondering if I am applying to schools in my reach.
I have a 1770 on my SATS, but plan to retake it in October, and possibly again in December if needed
I have a 3.75 unweighted GPA, and a 4.3-4.4 weighted. I have taken 7 AP classes and 10 honors courses throughout my high school career. I am also in the top 6% of my class.
(APs: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP language, AP Literature, AP US history, AP Chemistry, AP Psychology)
I have been a part of a year round swim team for 7 years, been an assistant swim coach, gotten varsity for every year I was on my school swim team, swam on a summer swim team, had 2 summer jobs as a lifeguard, been a swim instructor for 2 years , drama club for 2 years, varsity choir for 3 years, jr. board for a charity, 200+ community service hours, organized my own fundraisers, spanish honors society, national honors society, national society of high school scholars, an anti drugs and alcohol club for 4 years, and have organized my own fundraisers for pediatric cancer research.

What is really terrifying me are my SAT scores, since they are weak for a nursing program. Will they hold me back significantly from making TCNJ, Rutgers New Brunswick or University of Delaware?

Looking over your stats, especially your class rigour, GPA and your EC’s, your chances are pretty good. I would recommend trying to bump up the SAT score just to be safe since the admissions officers might ask questions about how you only did decently in relation to the classes you’ve taken. Also what state do you live in? If you live in NJ, tuition for Rutgers is quite good.

I am also a nj resident, and thank you! Another question; would it look bad to take the SATs again in December to get my scores up if I don’t increase my scores in the next upcoming SAT?

Sorry for the late response, I had to do some homework  About taking the SAT again, Rutgers won’t know if you took the SAT more than once, they will only see the score you submit. You may also want to try something called “super scoring” if you take the SAT more than once. A link about it is here: http://thecollegegig.com/score-choice-super-scoring-the-actsat/</a> Good luck!
