Chance me for Texas A&M?

As I am about to send in my applications, I need to know if I stand a chance of getting into Texas A&M. If it helps, at A&M I am applying to the school of Geosciences and for a second choice major I am applying for Classical Archaeology in the College of Liberal Arts. Can you please chance me at both schools?

Lastly, during Junior year I had mono that caused me to be absent for 17 days of school(nearly had to repeat junior year). It dropped me from the top 15% of my class to the top 28%. In my guidance counselor's letter of rec she included that bit of information. Will it have any affect on admissions, or does it extend out of the reach of "special circumstances"?

Here are my "stats"

lol do you play counterstrike?

If you get the 2100, good chance

Some counter strike and WoW in the past… but my gaming days are behind me!. Anyways, what would my chances be with my current SAT score (1920)? I have the 1300 math+CR to qualify for automatic admissions, but my class rank is 3% short…

I would think you will be admitted. You have good leadership, community service hours, good SAT scores and just short of automatic admission.
Don’t know if the letter of rec explanation of your being ill will even be read. I’m not certain they look at letters anymore.
It would have been better to put that in your essay C where it would definantly been looked at.
How have you shown your interest in A&M - have you attended any events for High School students? Been to the prospective student center? Been on official campus tour?
It is all important when you are not an automatic admit.
