<p>Hello!
I am currently a senior at one of the top 10 public schools in Massachusetts (don't know if that matters) and I'm just looking too see where I will stand in the UW admissions pool as an out of state resident.</p>
<p>Weighted GPA: 4.2
Unweighted GPA: 86% average, my school doesn't include unweighted. Somewhat low, however, I have shown a positive progression in terms of grades (all B's freshman, high B's Sophomore, High B's low A's junior, Mostly A's senior).</p>
<p>Courses:
Took mostly honors level courses my freshman and sophomore year, all honors + 4 AP courses in total junior and senior year (Spanish Language, US History, US Gov, Comp Gov) 4's on Spanish Lang and US History</p>
<p>SAT: 1950 </p>

<p>Out of School:
MEEP- Energy advisory council- local group of leaders who work to improve the town's energy efficiency. Majority of work was for a town-wide energy audit in order to cut energy usage/cost.</p>

<p>North Shore Sustainability Partnership member</p>
<p>Accomplishments:
- Recipient of the Presidential Environmental Youth Award & the Green Difference Award (recognition from president Obama and the Massachusetts state government)
- Developed a solar panel array on my school's roof
- Banned plastic bags in my community</p>
<p>Other things to consider:
- Interned at a prestigious law firm in Boston
- I write grants for my school
- I also write award applications for my school(including Green Ribbon Award from the US Department of Education, ended up winning it)
- Head tour guide for my school
- Varsity swimming
- 205 hours of community service- some of which was in a refugee camp in Burma</p>
