<p>Looks like you will be a National Merit Finalist–that’ll be a huge help with USC, which offers an automatic half-tuition scholarship to NMFs who are accepted. Go to the National Merit subforum (from the financial aid forum) for more info. Viterbi might be a tougher admit, but it is a wonderful program. Folks on the USC forum can answer questions about that.</p>

<p>Berkeley, UCLA and UCSD are unlikely to be affordable for you as an out of stater. Run the Net Price Calculators to check. Save yourself the application fees if the school would be too expensive for you.</p>

<p>As long as you don’t need financial aid, you will get in at full fees to the publics. </p>
